The VSP Food Cupboard has provided staples and many other types of resources to families and individuals in our area of the city for more than 40 years. Volunteers are needed to help bag groceries, receive deliveries, and more. In addition to providing supplemental food assistance, we provide donated seasonal clothing, household and personal care items, and referrals to various other social service agencies are provided as needed.

Shop Coffee and Shop Books was created to provide underserved communities with access to books and a space where everyone feels valued. In addition to our specially curated book selection, we also serve high-quality coffee, food products, and more, including apparel and children's games. We are also a community space that holds free and paid author talks, workshops, and other events, including weekly story time for kids, back-to-school drives, and much more.

The latter is called Mobile Gaming. Some examples include smartphones, feature phones, smartwatches, pocket PCs, tablet PCs, personal digital assistants (PDA’s), or portable media players. Whether it's creating lifelike landscapes, designing levels and stories, developing virtual simulations, or writing the coding that brings everything together, Full VSP classes have several distinct gaming certificates to prepare you to enter the gaming industry. You will learn a specialized curriculum focusing on the needs of the gaming industry while collaborating with peers to play games and create games from start to finish.

 

This program prepares students to architect and develop simulation environments for emerging tech in the gaming industry such as artificial intelligence, virtual reality, and augmented reality. We further examined the AVG or Esports training effects on young and older adults and found that AVG training has a positive effect on both overall and specific cognitive domains. Healthy adults benefit from the AVG training in both overall and specific cognitive domains. Young adults benefit more from the AVG training than older adults both overall and in separate cognitive domains. Age, education, study quality, and some methodological factors, such as the session duration, session number, total training duration, and control group type, modulated these effects. The current findings demonstrate that AVG training can serve as an effective intervention tool for cognitive improvement in healthy adults, especially young adults. Drug and Alcohol Recovery Group Or Training in Cognitive-Behavioral Theory

VSP understands that model groups are so very important to drug and alcohol recovery. VSP presents five models of groups used in substance abuse treatment, followed by three representative types of groups that do not fit neatly into categories, but that, nonetheless, have special significance in substance abuse treatment. Finally, groups that vary according to specific types of problems are considered. The most popular demand groups are Cognitive-Behavioral Groups.  Regardless of the particular focus, the group therapist conducting cognitive-behavioral groups should have a solid grounding in the broader theory of cognitive-behavioral therapy. This basis is the framework from which specific interventions can be drawn and implemented using self-help manuals and other materials. Training in cognitive-behavioral theory is available in many workshops on counseling skills and in many alcohol and drug training programs for counselors.

VSP advocates for legal aid to be provided to ensure that opportunities for justice are not denied to any citizen by reason of economic or other disabilities.  Legal services include rendering of any service in the conduct of any case or other legal proceedings before any court and giving advice on any legal matter. That being said, Legal Aid is the method adopted to ensure that no one is deprived of professional advice and help because of a lack of funds. Youth Ministry/Advocacy and Activism of Traditional Family Values

VSP Foundation promotes Activism as about making people listen, but advocacy is working on identifying solutions and inviting all parties to listen to each other's problems. Advocacy allows one to educate for change, thus, as is commonly mistaken, being an advocate is not difficult and something anyone, regardless of age, can get involved in. The VSP Youth Ministry/Advocacy and Activism of Traditional Family Values teach to put a finer point on it: Allyship denotes passive support in someone or a group in which the person has a vested interest, while advocacy refers to public sponsorship of a larger cultural, economic, political, or societal movement. The difference ultimately lies in the intent. Poor allyship is speaking over marginalized people by taking credit and receiving recognition for arguments that the unprivileged have been making for their entire lives. Among the unprivileged are the youth. Youth ministry is all about teenage culture and sharing a spiritual identity helping kids not to play with talk about God. From gaming and movies to TV and technology, we’ll provide expert advice and perspective that will help you to engage with them on a cultural level. We’ll also review the latest gadgets, tools, and tech that can help make your job a bit easier.
